Danae [after Klimt]

Original in watercolour and gold inks - print given post production treatment in editing software.

Danae 1907 A mythological subject is used as the pretext for a depiction of women at the moment of orgasm

Much of Klimt’s work, was based on his theme of sexuality and his greatest contributions of the new era in the 20th century, was sexuality in art.
I love his work and in my opinion, his work celebrated the sexual freedom of woman at the turn of the century.
